Mental Health has been a hot topic for the last 18 months. And with that has been a mad dash to either take advantage of the market or to quickly implement old solutions in place with the hopes of having new outcomes. With that, we have seen repetitive issues and perspectives from brokers and employers.

From brokers, many are pushing traditional EAPs with historically low utilization and engagement in the hopes that new perspectives and acceptance of mental health support means employers will find renewed value in old services.

Another challenge is the fear from brokers that increased utilization will result in increased costs creating hard conversations when it comes to renewals and client retention for those brokers

The third issue many brokers have encountered is supporting “small group” clients. Historically, EAPs are typically only available to “larger” groups of 100 or more.

B-Cares has created a solution that tackles all three of these challenges:

  1. Replacing old services with services that meet today’s needs
    • B-Cares offers a multi-layers approach that allows for pre-, during, and post-incident support
  2. Not just allowing for high utilization, B-Cares encourages high utilization without the cost impact
    • B-Cares offers a pooled management solution with a pooled utilization rate of nearly 50%. This means groups can have high engagement without being singled out and accruing costs due to their group’s utilization.
  3. Mental Health for EVERYONE
    • B-Cares offers unheard-of small-group support for employer group sizes as small as TWO!
    • Systems to support children as young as age 5!
